The Big Decision
As this year 2017 ends, Julie and I, Richard, are contemplating what the next year 2018 has for us. Actually, we have never been surer about what our goals are, what we may aim to see happen in the coming days. Because for the past six years, the Lord has graciously impressed upon us what more we may do to follow in His footsteps.
In 2011 after spending a few days with some fellow believers in Cambodia and Thailand doing some form of missionary work among the locals, the Lord had impressed upon us that the rest of our years before He takes us back to His kingdom out of this world that would work in the harvest field in the other parts of the world.
And so it is with some excitement that we are counting down the days towards the year 2019 when we should finally realize what this calling looks like for us. We may start working on scouting the land, at least for now in Southeast Asia, starting with the nation of Thailand, when we would spend a few days helping a missionary Pastor during the month of April in 2018 and get some feel of the kind of work that we may do as part of the missionary life in the future.
And at the same time we are also looking forward to having some brethren come on board with us with their physical, moral and spiritual support for this work of God. All this for the glory of the Father and His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ! Amen and amen.
